A purchase does not improve your chances of winning and is never required to enter or win a sweepstake on SHABANG. Every paid sweepstake listing offers a free alternate method of entry ("AMOE") carrying exactly the same odds of winning as a paid entry into that same drawing. The AMOE route is reached from the listing itself (look for "Free entry — no purchase necessary"), and walks you through confirming your identity, an acknowledgment step, and a short comprehension check — all free, no payment step anywhere in that path.

You must be at least 18 years old and hold one SHABANG account to enter. Void where prohibited by law. A given sweepstake may not be available, or may not be lawful, in every U.S. state or territory — see that listing's own official rules for anything specific to it, and our Terms of Service §1 for the general eligibility terms that apply platform-wide.

Each sweepstake is listed and sponsored by an independent seller using the SHABANG platform, not by SHABANG (Shabang LLC) itself. SHABANG operates the platform — including processing entries, running the drawing, and facilitating payment — but the specific prize, its description, and its fulfillment are the listing seller's responsibility. Each listing's own in-app official rules identify that listing's sponsor, prize, and entry period specifically.

Odds of winning a given sweepstake depend on the total number of entries in that drawing (paid and free entries counted alike) at the time it closes, and are shown on the listing itself before you enter. Winners are selected through a randomized, verifiable selection process.

1. Open the sweepstake listing you want to enter and tap "Free entry (no purchase necessary)."
2. Confirm your identity — this uses the account you're already signed into, nothing new is collected.
3. Read and type out the acknowledgment statement shown, exactly as written.
4. Read this page's rules text below (and that listing's own official rules) and answer the short comprehension questions.
5. Complete a brief human-verification step.
6. Review and submit — you're entered, with the same odds as a paid entry.

One free entry per person per sweepstake, regardless of how many paid entries exist in that same drawing.
