TERMS OF SERVICE

You must be at least 18 years old to enter any sweepstake or giveaway on SHABANG, and you confirm your age each time you enter. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

The Service is intended for use within the United States. Some sweepstakes, giveaways, or features may not be available, or may not be lawful, in every U.S. state or territory; where that's the case, they are void and unavailable where prohibited. You are responsible for confirming that participating in a given listing is lawful where you live before you enter. We may restrict access to the Service, or to specific listings, based on your location or other eligibility signals we collect, at our discretion.

You may not use the Service if you have been previously banned or suspended from SHABANG, or if your participation would violate any law applicable to you.

SHABANG is a marketplace where independent sellers list items as either paid-entry sweepstakes or free task-based giveaways, and where members of the public can enter for a chance to win. SHABANG operates the platform, processes payments, and facilitates the drawing process — SHABANG is not the seller of any listed item, does not take ownership of prizes, and is not a party to the transaction between a seller and a winning entrant beyond facilitating the sweepstake or giveaway itself.

Winners for each listing are selected through a randomized, verifiable selection process described at the time of the drawing. Winning is a matter of chance; SHABANG does not guarantee that any entrant will win.

You need an account, verified by phone number, to enter a sweepstake or giveaway or to list an item for sale. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at manager@greenlightning.biz if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may hold only one SHABANG account. Creating or using multiple accounts to gain extra entries, evade a suspension, exploit the free-entry route, or otherwise circumvent these Terms is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of entries, prizes, or funds, and permanent suspension.

Most sweepstake listings can be entered by paying the listed entry price from your SHABANG wallet balance. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Every paid sweepstake also offers a free method of entry that carries exactly the same odds of winning as a paid entry into the same drawing. The free entry route, including that listing's official rules, is available in-app from the listing itself. Purchasing additional or repeated entries does not improve your odds beyond what the listing's own entry-count mechanics allow, and does not purchase you a better chance of winning than a free entry into that same drawing.

Odds of winning a given sweepstake depend on the total number of entries in that drawing at the time it closes and are shown on the listing itself. Task-based giveaways are entered for free by completing the listed tasks (or, where offered, an unconditional no-task route) and are not games of pure chance weighted by payment in any way.

Each listing's specific official rules — sponsor identity, entry period, eligibility, and prize description — are presented to you in-app before you enter and control over any general statement in these Terms for that listing.

Real-money payments on SHABANG are processed by Stripe. Funds you add are held as a wallet balance and are spent, in whole or in part, on entry fees and other paid features. SHABANG may charge a platform commission on paid transactions, deducted before funds are made available to a seller; current rates are shown in-app at the time of the relevant transaction.

Wallet balance is not a bank deposit, is not insured, and does not earn interest. Withdrawing wallet balance back to a real payment method, where offered, may be subject to processing time, minimum amounts, and identity verification.

A sweepstake entry is automatically refunded to your wallet if the sweepstake it was placed on is cancelled, fails to meet a stated minimum, or is otherwise voided before it resolves, as described at the time you enter. Outside of those automatic cases, entry fees are generally non-refundable once a drawing has been entered, except where required by law or at SHABANG's discretion. You may request review of a specific charge by contacting manager@greenlightning.biz.

Sellers, not SHABANG, are responsible for accurately describing, owning or having the right to transfer, and fulfilling the prize associated with their listing, including shipping it to a winner or arranging local pickup as described in the listing. SHABANG facilitates the drawing and payment flow and provides tools to track fulfillment, but does not manufacture, inspect, own, or ship prizes itself, and is not responsible for a seller's failure to deliver a prize as described, except to the extent SHABANG's own published buyer-protection process for that situation says otherwise.

If you list an item, you represent that you own it or have the legal right to sell and transfer it, that its description is accurate, and that it is lawful to sell and to give away by chance in every jurisdiction where your listing is shown. You are responsible for fulfilling the prize to the winner. SHABANG may reject, remove, or suspend a listing at its discretion, including for prohibited items, inaccurate descriptions, or suspected fraud.

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automated means to enter sweepstakes or giveaways;
• Create multiple accounts or falsify your identity, age, or location;
• Manipulate, interfere with, or attempt to predict or influence the selection process;
• List or attempt to give away anything illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or otherwise prohibited by our content policies;
• Use the Service to launder money or move funds unrelated to genuine sweepstake/giveaway activity;
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, including in listing chat; or
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation or security of the Service.

We may remove content, void entries, withhold funds pending investigation, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

You retain ownership of content you post (listing photos/videos, chat messages, and similar). By posting it, you grant SHABANG a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the Service. You are solely responsible for content you post and represent that you have the rights to post it.

The Service relies on third-party providers — including Stripe for payments, and providers for identity verification, shipping, and messaging — whose own terms and privacy practices also apply to the parts of the Service they power. SHABANG is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent third-party providers.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY PRIZE WILL BE AS DESCRIBED OR DELIVERED BY A SELLER.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHABANG AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SHABANG IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold SHABANG harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the Service, your content, a listing you posted, or your violation of these Terms or of any law.

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.

You and SHABANG agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.

Class action waiver. You and SHABANG agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of a class or representative proceeding.

Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing manager@greenlightning.biz with your name and a clear statement that you wish to opt out, within 30 days of the date you first agreed to these Terms. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

This section is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. If any part of this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, except that if the class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) will proceed in court rather than in arbitration.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where the Federal Arbitration Act applies to §15. Any claim not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, including for violating these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including §12 through §16 — do survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where practical, notify you in-app. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with any listing-specific official rules, are the entire agreement between you and SHABANG regarding the Service. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
